Possibly the most beautiful "alien" caught in the sky over Iceland

Hundreds of thousands of tourists visit Iceland every year hoping to witness the  Aurora borealis. Some get lucky but others leave the country of ice, fire and snow without witnessing the beautiful dance in the sky.

This weekend happened to be very Aurora borealis - friendly. All over Iceland locals and tourists enjoyed looking at the sky. Here below are some pictures of the beautiful sky in Iceland taken by the readers of Vísir.
