Russian Military Ships

The Icelandic organization, Campaign Against Military Bases, have released a statement to the press stating that they protest the forthcoming Russian military ships that are scheduled to practice military maneuvers around Iceland’s coast. In their announcement they denounce these maneuvers and say that they have no advantageous role; furthermore they claim that these ships are a threat because they are nuclear powered. The organization also wishes to proclaim their demand that military ships from other countries cease coming near Icelandic shores. -mld
