Representative of the Alliance Party in the Reykjavik equal opportunities council, Bryndís Hlöðversdóttir has made a proposal to change pedestrian traffic lights in the city.

She suggests that in several places the green man should be swapped for a green woman. She believes that this could lead to positive discussion of matters of equal rights and the image of the two sexes.
