Magni is back home 18. september 2006 11:19 Magni í Smáralind Celebrations took place at Smáralind on Sunday when Magni, who made it to the finals on the CBS reality show Rockstar Supernova, came back home. Magni said he was speechless when he saw the crowds that had showed up to welcome him back when he landed after a three month stint in Los Angeles where the show was taped. Television stations Skjár Einn and NFS broadcasted live from the event in Smáralind and many of Iceland's most popular artists performed in his honour. Among those to greet him was Valgerður Sverrisdóttir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, who gave him a present from the Icelandic government. Magni then took the stage with his band Á móti sól and excused himself for not having sung in Icelandic for a long time and being tired from a long flight. Nevertheless he rocked the house and fans screamed their lungs out. „I don't know what I will do next. Only thing I know is that I'm going home and I'm going to play with my son Marinó and turn off my phone for at least a week," said Magni before leaving.
